Application:

High-frequency twisted pair cables for structured cabling systems are intended for stationary horizontal and vertical installation inside buildings and structures. The cables are designed to operate in the frequency range up to 100 MHz (Category 5 and 5e according to GOST R 54429-2011 and ISO/IEC 11801 standards). The cables are manufactured in climatic version U, installation categories 3 and 4 for cables with PVC sheath according to GOST 15150.

Operating and installation conditions:

The cables may be operated at ambient temperatures from −40 °C to +60 °C. Cable installation shall be performed at temperatures not lower than −10 °C.
The minimum permissible bending radius during installation shall be not less than 8 outer cable diameters.

Reliability requirements:

The minimum service life of the cables, provided that installation, operation, storage and transportation rules are observed, shall be at least 25 years. The service life is counted from the date of cable manufacture.

Construction:

Conductors made of soft copper wire with polyethylene insulation are twisted into pairs with lay lengths that are neither equal nor multiples of each other. The pairs are twisted into a core with a unidirectional lay. An aluminum-polymer tape shield with a contact drain copper conductor with a diameter of 0.4 mm is applied over the core. A polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sheath is applied over the shield. The cable does not propagate flame when installed singly.
