Application area:

High-frequency twisted pair cables for structured cabling systems are intended for stationary horizontal and vertical installation inside buildings and structures. They are designed to operate in the frequency range up to 100 MHz (Category 5 and 5e according to GOST R 54429-2011) and ISO/IEC 11801. The cables are manufactured in climatic version U, placement categories 3 and 4 for cables with a polyvinyl chloride sheath according to GOST 15150.

Operating and installation conditions:

Cables may be operated at ambient temperatures from −40 °C to +60 °C. Cable installation is allowed at temperatures not lower than −10 °C.
The minimum permissible bending radius during installation and operation must be at least 8 maximum outer cable diameters.

Reliability requirements:

The minimum service life of the cables, provided that installation rules, operating conditions, storage and transportation requirements are followed, shall be at least 25 years. The service life is calculated from the date of cable manufacture.

Construction:

Conductors made of soft copper wire with polyethylene insulation are twisted into pairs with different lay lengths that are neither equal nor multiples of each other. The pairs are twisted into a core with a unidirectional lay. Over the core there is a sheath made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The cable does not propagate flame during single installation.
